Inauguración virtual

Gloria Heldmound é un espacio expositivo experimental, definido polo traballo d@s artistas que participan no proxecto. Un sitio virtual creado para a exploración da arte contemporánea fuxindo dos limites da dimensión ou do tempo. Gloria pretende crear un lugar de exposición con cabida para todo tipo de creador@s, onde a súa obra sexa susceptíbel de adaptarse ao medio dixital, sen pretender ser un reflexo do real, senón unha reflexión da arte actual através dun medio global. Unha forma de acortar as distancias entre a arte e o espectador, dende unha nova perspectiva que non foi investigada con anterioridade, indagando deste modo acerca das posibilidades do propio medio e creando un espacio sen precedentes na rede. Virtual inauguration

Gloria Heldmound is an experimental exhibition space which is defined by the works of the artists who take part in the project. It is a virtual space which seeks to explore contemporary art without the boundaries of time or dimension. Gloria’s objective is to create an exhibition site where every artist can find his or her place provided that their artworks can be adapted to the digital environment. The exhibition site is not aimed at mirroring reality, but at prompting a reflection on today’s art through a global medium. It aspires to shorten the distance between art and spectator by using an unprecedented and innovative perspective which explores the potential of the medium itself, while creating a unique site in the Net. Inauguration Friday, September 21 in Alg-a Laboratory // 20 h.
